Although Bevi was founded in 2013 in Boston, our story could actually be traced back to Asia in 2011, when Sean and I met by chance in Beijing during a work meeting. From there, we went to business school together at MIT Sloan. Two years later, Sean and Eliza started to put together our first business plan at a Starbucks in Cambridge, MA. Since then, our company has been on a mission to eliminate waste from the bottled beverage supply chain. Thus, it is by fate that we announce our first international expansion into two Asian markets. This summer, we are launching pilots in both Hong Kong and Singapore.
